A comprehensive visual inspection of your property including all accessible areas of your property's envelope, i.e. attic, crawlspace, wall spaces, etc. We use a variety of tools to perform this comprehensive inspection including thermal imagers, borescopes, moisture meters, and hygrometers.

Cost of inspection does not include mold sampling/testing costs when analyzed by 3rd party laboratories.

Testing is used to identify the types and number of mold spores present in a space or on a surface.

A lot of our inspections do not require any type of mold testing, however there are situations when it can be useful.
​
The cost of these tests depends on the type of test performed and the speed of which the results are required.
Typically samples range in cost from $60-$100 per sample.
General Consulting/Project Oversight

Post Remediation Visit
To validate that your contractor followed the remediation protocol, and the impacted area(s) are now mold free.
May include multiple visits during the remediation to validate work.
$249 plus cost of any samples.
About Me & My Company
My name is Jeffrey Feinberg
I was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL and have lived here the majority of my life. I currently reside with my wife, four sons, and a lot of animals on a small farm in Monticello, FL.

I am a graduate of Florida State University where I studied Biological Sciences. I eventually went on to graduate school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX where I studied public health, specifically environmental and occupational health/industrial hygiene. This is when I began to take an interest in mold and indoor air quality. My graduate school thesis work was specific to indoor air quality in one of the largest medical research institutes in the country. This thesis work carried me into the first part of my professional career where I had the opportunity to work on a variety of mold and indoor air quality projects including managing the indoor air quality program for one of the largest academia/medical research institutions in the country.
For the last 17 years I have worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies as an environmental and occupational health professional. In 2022, I made the decision to leave the corporate world to focus specifically on the things that bring me joy: My family, homesteading, and indoor air quality related work, hence North Florida Mold Consulting was born.

We are not a large corporation masquerading as a local business where you speak to a salesperson, then a different technician shows up at your house, then another person sends you a report, you get the idea. When you call, I answer the phone, and I show up for the inspection.
